Animal Caretaker - Oneida County Humane Society
JOB DUTIES: Daily, thorough cleaning of all animal areas, including inside/outside runs, cat areas, floors, dishes, bedding, etc. Spot cleaning of animal and public areas throughout the day. Feeding the animals, including providing special diets as needed. Monitoring the health of the animals on an ongoing basis and rapidly identifying any health problems or conditions (medical or behavioral) and immediately reporting it to management. JOB DUTIES: Prepping materials for future classes, when specified by art instructor. Other specific projects, responsibilities, or errands as requested by art faculty. On occasion, assisting in the instillation/take-down of art in the gallery or other locations on campus. Cleaning and maintaining the art lab. Removing paint, clay, etc., from tables, chairs, floors, counters, etc. Putting away, and when necessary cleaning, art supplies like brushes, palettes, canvases, papers, etc. Organizing, and sometimes reorganizing, closets and cupboards.
